Planning an Amazing 2016

If you’re like me, you have already started planning how to make 2016 the best year ever.  Each year, I like to make a list of all of the things I would like to accomplish and how I plan to make it happen, such as:

• fitness goals
• family goals
• family and personal trips
• business income
• personal savings
• business goals
• healthy eating plan
• personal hobbies
• fun things to do as a family

I found a set of journals and workbooks online that I asked my husband to order for me for Christmas and he did!  Here they are:

I’ve gone through the biz and the life workbooks and they gave me so much focus.  They gave me an action plan to enter into the journal and, along with my own planning, I feel completely ready to tackle 2016 and make it an absolutely wonderful year.  Here is what I did:

Business Goals

• start with an income goal
• add all of my streams of income into an Excel spreadsheet
• add 5% per month to my average 2014 income
• subtract from my goal income
• list my intended product launches
• determine what I need to make from my product launches to meet my goal income
• add the product launches to my journal
• develop a marketing plan
• add the marketing plan to my journal

Personal Goals

• set my goal weight
• write my weekly goal weight in my journal
• set my holiday/vacation goal
• schedule my vacations in my journal
• set my purging/cleaning/organizing schedule
• add to my journal
• determine my exercise plan
• add to my journal
• plan weekly fun family activities and date nights
• add them to my journal

My final step was to add monthly revisits to my biz and life workbooks to have a monthly check-in to see if I am meeting the goals I set for myself and adjust in my journal, if necessary.

I have to say, since I started my online business in 2002, this is the year that I feel the most organized and hopeful about meeting all of my goals – even if they are lofty!
